Back to work

I'm back from another hiatus. The reason for my lack of blogging is that I haven't done anything very exciting (that is related to photography) since I was in Spain. I am however about to embark on what I hope will be one of the most exciting journeys yet.  I'm off to Ethiopia, a country I've long dreamed of visiting.

Not sure whether the internet will be so great over there, so I might disappear from the blogosphere for a couple of months again. For the very reason that I don't blog so regularly these days, I have finally implemented a "Subscribe via e-mail" option. It's located at the top right corner of the page, just below the right side of the banner. By subscribing via e-mail you don't lose track of what I'm doing and I don't lose you, the valued readers of this blog.

While I was home in Sydney, I worked on two e-books. One is finished and will be released before Christmas. It'll be a behind-the-scenes kind of look at how I do things and I'm really excited about it. Stay tuned for more details. The other e-book will be on getting the most out of natural light and that will be out around March, April next year.

One last thing before I finish this post. I was interviewed by Matt Brandon for his "Depth of Field" podcast and you can listen to the interview by clicking HERE or by searching for "Depth of Field" on iTunes. The podcast is one of my favorites and I listen to quite a few. It was an honour to be part of it and real fun to chat to Matt, who has been an internet friend for almost 10 years now.

That's all for now. I leave you with an image from a Thai boxing match (I stopped in Thailand to visit friends on the way to Africa). The image is of a Thai boxer celebrating after knocking out his opponent. Stay tuned and/or join me on Facebook for more regular, but smaller updates.
